FIELD VERIFICATION - SOIL PRESUMPTIVE LOAD-BEARING PRESSURE:
-1,500 PSF soil Presumptive load-bearing pressure please, R401.4 Table R401.4.1.
-contractor shall verify the existing soil conditions prior beginning the work, If the soil conditions are found to be different from what is indicated in the design plans, please notify immediately the design engineer for design evaluation/ confirmation, changes to approved Plans must be submitted to City for review and approval.
FIELD VERIFICATION - STRUCTURAL LETTER OF INSPECTION & INTEGRITY:
-Engineer of Record Inspections: a final engineering certification letter/report of inspection and integrity must be submitted for review and approval. This letter must be signed and sealed by the Engineer of Record. It should confirm that the engineer has personally visited the site, inspected the new foundation system including the horizontal & vertical reinforcement system, and verified that the new foundation system was installed in accordance with the Structural Plans, the Manufacturer’s installation guidelines and specifications, the Applicable Codes.
